Lorix

I read this book as a bedtime story to my two children (9 & 8 years old). We all thoroughly enjoyed it - and sometimes the 'one chapter for each of you' rule was stretched because none of us could bear to leave it until the next night!

The only reason I have not given this book 5 stars is because of the way we jumped from the middle of the action - the two main characters getting swept away down a tunnel - to after the event, then being told what had happened through recall. In my opinion it would have been better to stay with the action and experience the eventual rescue first hand.

It is just a minor detail, as like I said, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be purchasing further Laura Marlin Mysteries.
