Once again I loved one of TJ Klune's books. As well as the romance between Seven and Felix I liked the fantasy elements (or elementals) of the story, set in the not to distant future in a world not dissimilar to ours.
From the beginning we know that all is not as it seems. Felix warns us the benefits of hindsight are marvellous. You know
something is going to happen, but not what, and the ending definitely makes you wish the second book was already written!
TJ Klune is one of the most versatile authors I have ever read - from the heart-warming Bear, Otter and the Kid, to the hilarious Tell Me It's Real, to the poignant Into This River I Drown to this action packed, twisting, turning novel. I may not know exactly what I'm getting when I pick up one of his books, but I i>do know that I am not going to be disappointed.
